The Bridge Story Donna Borsa a tracolla marrone
The Name The North Face refers to the most challenging side of a mountain: icy, dark and dangerous. The Californian outdoor brand chose this name deliberately to reflect the core attributes of its products – durability and functionality. Whether it’s bags, backpacks or travel gear, every The North Face product remains dependable in rough terrain and extreme weather conditions. Popular bag styles include crossbody and belt bags. Tote-style The North Face bags with long handles are ideal for shopping or overnight stays. These typically feature padded straps, making them comfortable to carry by hand or over the shoulder. With an additional shoulder strap, these bags can also be worn diagonally across the body. The North Face belt bags are primarily designed for outdoor use – water-resistant materials and functional features are essential. Some models include a breathable back panel and stay firmly in place, even during intense climbs. A roll-top The North Face belt bag offers additional storage space when needed, making it a great travel companion.
Travel luggage, backpacks and daypacks for sport and outdoor adventures
One of the classics in The North Face travel range is the Base Camp Duffel. This popular bag features a lockable U-shaped zip opening, stowable backpack straps and side handles. It also comes with padded carry handles as standard for extra comfort on the go. The Base Camp series offers capacities ranging from 30 to 150 litres. Another travel classic is the Rolling Thunder trolley line, with a capacity of up to 155 litres and equipped with stabilising feet, compression straps and reinforced backs. For short trips, a The North Face travel backpack is ideal. Sized to fit standard hand luggage requirements, it easily fits under a seat. Most travel-friendly backpacks include a padded laptop compartment and soft, cushioned carry system. Everyday models typically also feature a padded back and shoulder straps. For added comfort, the Isabella backpack is ergonomically tailored to the female anatomy – identifiable not only by its feminine name but also by the W prefix (for women). Like most of the brand’s daypacks, the Isabella includes a padded laptop compartment. The North Face’s women’s range also includes anatomically designed outdoor backpacks.
The North Face Borealis is one of the most popular sport models. It features two stretchy side mesh pockets and a front bungee cord system. It also includes a hydration system port – a standard feature of The North Face hiking and trekking backpacks. These models typically also include a whistle, padded shoulder straps, as well as chest and hip belts. Adjustable carrying systems and quick-drying fabrics are other common features. Depending on the length of your hike, you can choose models with capacities ranging from 18 to 75 litres. Some versions even include a detachable daypack. Many The North Face backpacks are designed to be multifunctional – blending the features of outdoor and urban packs, they perform just as well on the trail as they do on your daily commute.
Over 55 years of excellence – The North Face
Founded in 1966, The North Face began as a small mountaineering shop. The brand’s passion for exploring nature inspired its famous motto: Never Stop Exploring. The North Face logo is a stylised representation of Half Dome in Yosemite National Park – a climbing mecca in California’s Sierra Nevada and one of the most challenging peaks in the USA. Both the brand name and logo highlight The North Face’s commitment to delivering high-performance, well-equipped products that can handle the toughest conditions while offering exceptional comfort. In order to ensure that future generations can also follow the brand’s motto, The North Face is committed to environmental protection and sustainable production. The label is a founding member of the Conservation Alliance and is also part of the EOCA (European Outdoor Conservation Association).
