Practical backpacks and bags by Burton
Burton backpacks range in volume from 18 to 44 litres. Some models feature an adjustable roll-top lid for flexible storage capacity. Burton also offers compact backpacks in drawstring format. Durable materials such as polyester, tarpaulin or nylon—especially Cordura nylon—ensure long-lasting performance. Each model’s features vary depending on its intended use. Urban-ready Burton backpacks typically include a laptop or tablet compartment, a padded back panel and reflective details. Most outdoor styles come with hip fins and a chest strap. Helmet, tool and gear attachments, as well as compression straps and fastening loops, are standard on Burton’s outdoor backpacks. Some models are equipped with a ventilated Aeropro back system. Packable Burton backpacks include a separate inner pocket into which they can be folded. Burton has recently launched a backpack line designed for women with anatomically correct fits. The brand’s range also includes travel backpacks with hygienic dividers and a convenient 90-degree opening. Some models can also be worn over the shoulder thanks to stowable straps.
Bags and travel luggage
Functionality is also a top priority for Burton bags. Hybrid belt bag models can unfold into a backpack. Practical Burton travel bags feature a ¾ opening and an adjustable roll-top closure. For longer journeys, the Burton trolley with smooth-rolling wheels and a lockable telescopic handle is ideal. Its capacity ranges from 40 to 120 litres. Most Burton suitcases glide on IXION™ skate wheels, designed for rough terrain and unaffected by uneven surfaces. The trolleys also feature lockable, TSA-compatible two-way zippers. Every Burton trolley includes elastic Cram™ zones around the zip, allowing it to close easily even when fully packed.
Burton as a pioneer in snowboarding
Passionate winter sports enthusiast Jake Burton Carpenter founded a small workshop in 1977 in Vermont (USA) to produce functional and safe boards. From the beginning, he and his wife, Burton CEO Donna Carpenter, focused on innovation, perfection and consistently high quality. Burton helped elevate snowboarding to a world-class sport and is now supported by some of the best riders on the planet. The Burton range goes far beyond snowboarding gear—it also includes performance apparel and camping equipment. As a lifestyle brand, Burton is committed to environmentally conscious development: most of its products are now manufactured according to bluesign® criteria.
